Hi there! Welcome to my website! I'm a Japanese student currently studying computer science at Western University. I've spent my life moving around and living in places like Japan, New York, Thailand, and now I'm pursuing a degree in Canada! I love playing badminton, table tennis, and cooking in my free time. I also love travelling! Some of my top destinations I've visited include New Zealand, Vietnam, and Malaysia!

Developer.

I love developing software. I developed software profesionally during my time at J.D. Power, where I coded for one of the largest data analytics companies in North America! Beyond that, I've developed many side projects that go from musical applications to an ocean simulator! I love tackling new challenges that go beyond my scope of knowledge, and gaining new skills each and every day.

Top skills.

Java

Java has been my go-to language for just about anything. I worked with it during internship as well!

Python

I've used python for many of my AI or Distributed Systems courses. I also love it for Leetcode!

JavaScript

I use javascript when doing anything web relatedin in some of my school projects too!

ReactJS

This website was built using React! It's my favourite JS framework.

C/C++/C#

I used C and C++ extensively in my OS and OOP courses. I developed my capstone in C#

Flutter/Dart

My own project Roomies was developed in Flutter/Dart and I've come to love mobile dev!

MySQL

I used SQL and MySQl extensively in my Databases course, but also during my internship.

Selenium

Selenium was part of the automation stack that my team used at J.D. Power.

Cucumber

I used Cucumber to write a majority of my test automation at J.D. Power.

Git

Git is everywhere for me! Work, school, you name it.

Work Experience.

Software QA Automation Engineer Intern

May 2022 - September 2023

Working as an intern on the CPP team, I developed and maintained code automation for one of the largest data analytics and consumer intelligence companies in North America.

Developed and maintained automation projects for software applications using Java, Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, and the Serenity library.
Led the test automation development of the three components of the Batch 2.0 services, testing the Batch API with 85%+ test coverage.
Automated and debugged over 30 API microservices and business services used by numerous automobile companies, increasing software quality and testing capabilities.
